Speaking our Truth is an integral part of the health of our whole being.  When we speak clearly and effectively, our thoughts and feelings are expressed to their fullest extent and we do not harbor associated negativity, which can be the root cause of many negative experiences in our lives.  Likewise, each of us is a creative being—it is in our nature as humans to create, whether it be communities, visual art, or simply a new way of doing things.  When we stifle our inner voice, we stifle the part of us that expresses our creative potential—our humanness.

Voice Lessons can affect nearly every part of your life.  From communicating with co-workers to finding that perfect word while writing poetry at home, when you are expressing yourself fully your life will seem to flow more naturally, effortlessly, with more grace and ease.

Have you always wished for more ease in communication?  Have you often wanted to express yourself more clearly?  Learning techniques that will improve your singing voice is one piece of this puzzle.  By practicing those techniques and experiencing how you feel as you articulate your thoughts clearly and effectively you will gain confidence in your daily communication and learn to bring direct open honest communication into your daily life.

Remember, Music Lessons are great for young people of all ages!

Voice Lessons for Adults:
Where ever you are on your path as a vocalist, lessons can help you better utilize and fine tune your instrument. Most of my students are adults, either exploring an avenue they feel they missed out on in their youth, or expanding previous education - adding new tools to their box of skills, if you will. As an educator, I meet all my students exactly where they are.  We will work at your pace, on music you choose.  Whether you want to learn operatic style singing or simply want to sound better in the shower, these are your lessons - you choose what you want to learn!

Voice Lessons for Children:
Learning techniques of good singing at a young age will benefit any child as they grow.  Children can easily strain their vocal chords if not using their young instrument correctly.  Some teachers prefer not to start teaching voice to children until age 14 to avoid stressing an immature instrument.  Did you know that a woman's voice is not fully mature until age 32?  Having myself worked through vocal nodules at age 16, I know first hand what strain can do to a young voice.  And what techniques can be used to avoid or work through this strain.  I also know that interests pursued and experienced as a child provide a foundation for the future.  I usually teach young students in groups, beginning around first grade.
